Michelle has danced professionally in such productions as “Crazy For You” (International Tour), “The Will Rogers Follies” (National Tour), and “Beauty and the Beast” (Walt Disney World.) She was a featured dancer in the remake of the “Stepford Wives” movie and in a national Ebay commercial directed by Sam Mendes, as well as many other TV appearances. Michelle has also had the privilege of constructing and overseeing a special one night performance by the incredible Chita Rivera at the Hotel Pierre. Ann Reinking as the dance captain for “Chicago” on Broadway.
She was chosen to work side-by-side with Ms. Michelle Potterf came to NYFA from a nine-year run in the Musical “Chicago” on Broadway, where she played Go-to-Hell Kitty and understudied the lead, Roxie Hart. Her recent premieres include Mary & Max (Bobby Cronin) at Theatre Calgary and We Were Everywhere (Avi Amon) at Princeton. Music Director for the New York Youth Symphony Musical Theatre Composition Program and the American Theatre Wing Songwriting Challenge '18/'19/'20. Jacobs (2020 Jonathan Larson Award), and Avi Amon (2019 Jonathan Larson Award).
Her orchestrations can be heard on over twenty original movie musicals currently on the film festival circuit, including scores by Zoe Sarnak (2018 Jonathan Larson Award), Anna K. Kristy is an original member of the NYFA Musical Theatre faculty and is a professional voiceover artist.Īnna Ebbesen has made a career commitment to fostering new voices in the industry. She is a proud member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA. Kristy Cates’s credits include Elphaba in Wicked (Broadway, First National Tour, Chicago), Miss Bassett in Finding Neverland (Broadway), Grandma Josephine in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Broadway), Jerry Springer: the Opera (Carnegie Hall), a handful of off-Broadway shows, and many regional productions.
